Susan, George, Luke and Colton,
Today, as for many days now we have been feeling your heartache as you finally approach the time to say Good-bye to your Mom and lay her in her final resting place.

We all have beautiful memories of special vacations and other holidays together, but this holiday called life finally has to end.

Now, we have to remember our good times together and be thankful we were privileged to spend so many years together enjoying our family. Let us be thankful for her and not spend our days grieving her loss. Being 5 years older than I, she laid down a few rules for me in my childhood that I later appreciated as I grew older.

Sincerest sympathy for you and your family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you 🙏🏻

My heart aches today!  I met Mary some 40+ years ago I was 13 years old, we lived down the hall from each other.  Whenever I travelled, I had to let both her and Pete know that I was away so that they didn't worry or there would  be stern warnings! 

In  2010 I moved, but  twice a month I visited  and we would have coffee.  In 2018  I moved back into the building  right below Mary, and after work 3 times  per week and sometimes on Sundays, I would grab us both a coffee and would sit for a couple of hours just jibber jabbering about life.  (I believe it gave Sue  comfort  that she had someone close by) 

Both my daughter  Geneva whom she was so fond of and I will miss her dearly!  We enjoyed her company and looked out for her.  I'm happy that I was able to spend such precious time with her these past few years.  

Sue, George, Luke and Colton remember: "Those we love don't go away, they walk besides us every day"!

My memories go back to July 3 1973 when Mary started work at Aetna. I had lunch with her to show her around. That was the beginning of our everlasting friendship. Some wondered what more we had to talk about but we still phoned each other every evening.  I could never have asked for a better friend. My heart will be filled with her memory until we meet again.

So sorry to hear about Mary. She was a wonderful lifelong friend of Auntie Audrey's and a great support and comfort to her during her last days. We pray that you keep well and strong and hold tight to each other during this difficult time. May the memories of her live in your hearts forever.
