to Ruby Beryl and Edmund Waterton Calder.
Maurice was one of six children of this union. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vicki, also his siblings Josephine, Michael and Edward.
Maurice served in the British Army in the Kings Own Border Regiment where he experienced combat in multiple war zones, including Bahrain.
He remained in England; there he met his wife Vicki. They moved to Bermuda in 1970, then later relocated to Canada where Maurice served in the Department of Corrections and Vicki in nursing.
In 1990, they embarked on a new venture with Prime America until their retirement.
Maurice had a charming personality, a wonderful smile and was very intentional about greeting and connecting with people that he had never met before. He was a very loving brother. We have fond memories of vacations spent with Maurice and his wife Vicki, especially in Bermuda.
Maurice will be missed by his wife Vicki, his 3 siblings, and his nieces and nephews Christopher, Rhonda, Rawle, Desa, Shavanna, Michael (Jr) and Michelle. Also his grand nieces and nephews: Myles, Rhys, Ethan, Ryan, Eva, Caleb and Ariana.
May Maurice rest in peace and rise in glory.
