Maurice was born in Portland, Jamaica, after immigrating to Canada he lived in Windsor and Winnipeg before settling in Toronto.
Maurice is survived by his wife Pauline, mother Carmen, children Rochelle (Joy), Tyrone (Junior), Velma, Andrea, Kahlil, and Annice. sisters Dorrett, Bianca and Lois (Jean), brothers Romeo, Mark and Roman as well grand children, nieces and nephews.
The Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack funeral home 2570 Danforth Ave in Toronto on Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home 2570 Danforth Ave on Thursday August 22, 2013 at 10:00am, burial will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery 2505 Brock Road North, Pickering, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, Maurice's family requests donations be made to a trust fund established for Annice Williams through the CIBC. Transit number 06832 010 7110839.
