A Symbol of Hope

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world But then it flies again And though we wish it could have stayed... We feel lucky to have seen it.

Liz, Rick & Family,
My daughter & I were shocked & deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Melissa. The many years spent in dance class, at competitions and dance camps, watching Melissa become the beautiful person she was, are memories we will always cherish. Melissa had an honest and pure passion for dance that inspired all who knew her. We will miss her.

Liz and Family,
Mere words cannot ease your pain and suffering at the loss of your beautiful Melissa. But perhaps added to the knowledge that others share your sadness, these words will help to comfort you. Every time you spoke of Melissa, it was with great love, excitement and pride. I could always tell what a joy she was to you, so like the butterfly, may you cherish and celebrate the time you had with her.

I taught Melissa jazz in Peterborough, what seems like forever ago. She always had a smile on her face in class. She worked so hard and never gave up. It was so nice to see a student with so much passion for dance. She will truly be missed.
