With sorrowful hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Melodie Laverne Yeomans, (September 25, 1955 – May 22, 2024) in her 69th year. Predeceased by parents Larry and Inger (nee Johnson). Lovingly remembered by her Aunt, Anita Barclay; survived and forever remembered by daughter Janine Birt (Richard) and granddaughter Leah; deeply missed by lifelong and sisterhood friends, and many dear friends of the Clairlea Park Presbyterian Church Choir and Congregation and former members of the Victoria Park United Church.
Melodie will be resting at the 'Danforth Chapel' of Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway station), 416-698-3121. Visitation on Thursday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m, followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy the family welcomes memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Clairlea Park Presbyterian Church and the Ontario SPCA.
