My condolences to Michael's family. I worked with Michael at Maclean Hunter & Quebecor. He was a dynamic and interesting man.

Ralph Alcantara. I have worked for sir Michael Druce for the past 20 plus years. He taught me a lot and had given me the privilege of working at my own pace and at my own free spirit way with no pressure at all. I surely will miss him.

Michael was a very talented and unique individual - I had the pleasure of working quite intensively with him for several years at Quebecor in Aurora. I shall miss him now - even having not seen him for quite a while. My thought are with his family at this difficult time.

I had the great privilege of working with micheal Druce, During my time at MH and Quebecor. He will be sorry missed.

I had the privilege of working with Michael in Aurora, he was a gentleman to the core. My condolences to his family.

I worked with Mike for many years at MH and Quebecor. Mike had a analytical mind and found solutions on extremely complex issues. We work most of our lives and deserve to enjoy retirement longer then Mike did.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Michael in Maclean Hunter in Aurora for many years. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by all who got to know him.

Mike was a character and my time with him at conferences and other events were and still are memourable.  A sad day, I will miss him.

I worked with Michael at MacLean Hunter in the early 1990's. Michael was a great person and a great colleague. I always enjoyed his company but only had the pleasure to see him a handful of times after I left M-H. He was always optimistic and had positive things to say. My sincere condolences to Michaels family and he will be missed by many.

Michael, I shall never forget our dealings together, You were a gentlemen always.  Gentlemen are in short supply in this world. We salute you.

Michael was a wonderful person. It was an honour to be his nurse.

Michael was a long-time serving member of the Ontario Printing and Imaging Association (OPIA) board, the Chairman of the OPIA Board in 2002 to 2004 and one of our distinguished judges for the OPIA Awards of Excellence. Since his retirement, I had spoken fairly regularly to Michael and corresponded via email as he was always interested in the latest developments within the industry and the OPIA.   He was also a participant on the first OPIA Strategic Plan in 2001.  His contributions to the association were many and meaningful.  He was always a favourite to have in your group during government affairs days at Queens Park or Parliament Hill.  We will miss him and his great stories. My condolences to Mary and his children.

I offer my condolences to the family. It was a privilege to know Michael through the OPIA. I was editor of the Association's newsletter and I thoroughly enjoyed receiving and reading Michael's articles. They were written with wit, intelligence, respect, and a deep understanding of what mattered to the membership he led. He wrote the way he talked. His personality resonated in each article and when reading, I could almost hear him speaking the words. I was also delighted when he served with me on the panel of judges for the OPIA's Excellence in Print Awards.  We have missed him since he retired from the printing industry.

Mike was mentor from whom I learned much during our all too short association at the Aurora plant.  I will always remember him for the patience he afforded me.

My condolences to the family.  Michael and I worked together at  Maclean Hunter and Quebecor. Michael was well respected, intelligent with a good sense of humour. I enjoyed my years of working with him.  I was sorry to hear of his passing.

I learned alot of lessons from my Dad, perhaps the biggest one he taught me after his death. In his life he was often courageous in many quiet and unassuming ways. A private man, he never made a show of courage in the face of pain or adversity. He faced his death with bravery and his last words were of thanks and love to my mother.
