Milenka Grancaric

Milenka Grancaric, also known as Meka and Miki, was born on December 21, 1945 in Diklo, Zadar, Croatia.

After a courageous 4-year battle with ovarian cancer, she passed away peacefully on October 1, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 77 years.

She faced her illness with grace, dignity, and a never waiving zest for life, and remained forever positive.

A special thank-you to Dr. Tomer Feigenberg, Nurse Darlene Priestman, and all the wonderful nurses and entire oncology team at Credit Valley hospital. Your kindness and compassion were always at the forefront and Milenka loved you all.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Milan (2002)

Loving mother of Sandy (Melanie) and John (Sandra) and cherished Baba to Emily and Daniel.

Milenka will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.

She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm

The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church, 7 Croatia St. at 10:00am.

PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.

Burial to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd.
