Nancy Susan MacDonald

We are sad, but comforted, to announce that Nancy will now Rest In Peace. Nancy was predeceased by Parents, Archie MacDonald and Merney, (nee Wilcox) and Brother, Wayne MacDonald. She will be missed by Sisters - Judy Woof, Sheila MacDonald, Joyce MacDonald (Michael Gallacher) along with all her many treasured nieces and nephews. Nancy, fought a lifelong struggle and is now able to rest with many cherished family members. In Nancy’s earlier days, she was employed as a Medical Secretary, as it was called at that time. She enjoyed riding her bike and meeting up with friends. She always wanted to attend family gatherings and did her best to make the trek. We know she will make her rounds in heaven and ‘fill-in’ all of our loved ones with stories of how everyone is doing, and in great detail. Many friends and close family tried to help Nancy, and we thank them all for their time, their caring and so much sharing. It is comforting to hear of the countless and kind-hearted people that received her call and took the time to laugh and cry with her…. Thank you from the bottom our hearts! Many, many thanks to Niece - Amber Giroux and Shane Sills, Darlene MacDonald, Dawn and Randy Jones, Kimberly O’Dell, Bradley and Cheryl MacDonald. Along with the Awesome Team at, ‘The Neighbourhood Group’, and Nancy''s trusted friend and confidant, Lourisa, who tearily said, “I saw her almost daily for 20 years”! To Randy Goldberg - of Cota, thank you for your many, many years of care and unwavering patience. Nancy had so many good hearted people in her life, who were all, without a doubt, her favourite and most honest phone buddies. Judy Woof, Sheila MacDonald and Joyce MacDonald, along with so many cherished nieces and nephews… great nieces and nephews and countless family members, will be praying for her safe arrival. Nancy will rest at: Lake Dore, Point Presbyterian Cemetery. 539 Point Church Dr., Eganville ON. Looking forward to a summer service, coinciding with the Annual Cemetery Service - Aug. 10 2025 Wishing Nancy a solemn journey, without care or effort, on the meet up with many loved ones.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
