It is with enormous sadness that the family announces that their beloved daughter and sister, Natasha Modafferi passed away on August 26, 2026 surrounded with the love of her family at the young age of 45.
Natasha has been reunited in Heaven with her father, Angelo.
Loving daughter of Tommasina and sister of John and his wife Rina. Devoted Zia to Tessa and Angelo. Cherished niece to Giacinto & Filomena Calabria, Bruno & Pina Bellissimo, Mika & Ida Sorbo and Joe Modafferi. Loving cousin to Maria & Tony, Grace & Marco, Nick & Lauren, Maria & Nick and Giacinto.
Natasha will be remembered for the love she showed her family and friends, her strength and perseverance, beautiful smile and love of traveling.
Natasha's love for her niece Tessa and nephew Angelo was unconditional. She treated them like her own by teaching them life lessons and showering them with gifts. Her smile was the brightest when they were together.
Her love and support for her older brother John was always visible. They leaned on each other for many life scenarios and respected each other beyond words. She became very fond of her sister-in-law Rina as their relationship grew into a special bond.
Her most important relationship was with her mom, Sina. This was more than a mother & daughter relationship, as they became best friends. They loved each other unconditionally.
Natasha will be forever loved, remembered, and missed by all of her family and friends.
Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave. W., on Monday, August 31, 2026 from 4pm-9pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W.
Please note, on the morning of the Mass, we would ask all friends to go directly to the church as there will not be a visitation. The immediate family will have some private time prior to the service.
Following Natasha’s wishes, cremation to take place privately. Her final resting place will be at Prospect Cemetery in the coming weeks.
