Passed away peacefully in Scarborough at the age of 77. Loving husband of Gail for 26 year. Beloved father of Janice (Jeff), Michael and Brett. Cherished grandfather of Ashleigh, Matthew, Jessica, Meghan and Ryder. Proud brother of Mary, Sally, Ruth and Audrey.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 5th from 4:00 - 8:30 P.M. and Saturday, December 6th from 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main Subway stn.), 416-698-3121. Funeral service will follow in the Giffen-Mack Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto General Hospital would be appreciated.

Neil will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends.

God looked around His garden,

And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon this

Earth and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest,

God’s garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering

He knew you were in pain

He knew that you would never

Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was

Getting rough and the hills

Were hard to climb.

So he closed your weary eyelids

And whispered "Peace be Thine"

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you didn't go alone,

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.
