Nora will be remembered for the life she lived, the memories she created, and the love she shared with those around her. She was a beloved mother to her son, Anthony (Magda), and a proud grandmother to her two beloved grandchildren, Adriana and Matthew, who brought special joy to her life.
Predeceased by her parents, Edward & Annie, Nora was the eldest sibling to Pat (Lucy), Bernard, Agnes, Michael and Elizabeth (Dan). She was a proud aunt to her nieces & nephews: Ryan, Michael, Shauna, Matthew, Kevin, Nicole, Courtney and Jesse.
Loyal in life to her family and friends, she found joy in the church and, later, helping others through challenging times in theirs. Her faith, sense of humour and every episode of Coronation Street gave her the strength and resilience to see the good in every situation.
Throughout her battle with illness, she was grateful for the support of the medical staff at Scarborough General Hospital and, specifically, Dr. Chee, Dr. Yarnell and the nurses in the ICU. Donations to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation that will aid important COPD research are welcomed in lieu of flowers.
Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. The moments shared, the memories created, and the love she leaves behind will always be treasured.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
