Our mother passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital in Toronto on September 6th, 2026 at the age of 83 with her family by her side. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 62 years, Giovanni, who predeceased her in September 2025.
Proud mother to Dario (Shelby), Debbi (Trent) and Sandro (Sabrina) and loving Nonna to Aiden, Braxton, Massimo and Matteo.
Noris was born on July 20, 1943 in the village of Cusignana in the Province of Trevisio, Italy to Maria and Antonio Girardi (both predeceased)
Dear sister to the late Louis (late Mary) Girardi, Antoinette (late Corrado) Zanatta and Donella and Joe Gabriel. Sister in law to the late Tony Corazza (Elena).
Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose kindness, strength and unwavering love touched the lives of her family and all who knew her.
Our parents were members of the Fogular Furlan and the Marconi Club in Sault Ste. Marie and after retiring from Plummer Memorial Public Hospital in Sault Ste Marie she devoted countless hours to volunteering and baking for the Sault Area Hospital.
In her younger years, our house was a hotbed of activity with our parents entertaining friends and family throughout our lives. We knew when our parents were going to entertain friends and family when we saw the upstairs and downstairs ovens working which was standard in an Italian household.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in the name of Noris Ragogna to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or St. Veronica Catholic Church in Sault Ste Marie where they were lifelong parishioners.
Visitation with be held Friday, September 18, 2026 from 9:00am – 10:00am at the Delmoro Funeral Home (61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto, Ontario M3L 1A2). Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church at 11:00am (1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, Ontario, M9P 3E7). Cremation to follow.
