Onofrio Luigi Papasodaro, fondly known as Gino was born on September 16, 1947 Serra San Bruno, Calabria, Italy and passed away surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on March 20, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 78 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of Rosina for 49 years.
Loving father of Victor (Cinzia) and Vince (Nadia). Cherished Nonno of Julian, Matteo, Alessandro and Luca. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Toronto and in Italy.
Gino had a deep love for his wife, children and grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his family. He cherished watching his grandchildren play and laugh as young children, and he took great pride in seeing them grow and change over the years. Being together with those he loved most meant everything to him. He will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of his family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (near Wilson and Jane) on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:30-9:00pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:30am at St Bernard De Clairvaux. (please note that parking is located on Duckworth St, do not park on Lawrence Ave. W.)
Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in the St. Anthony Mausoleum.
