Pamela Marie Lehn, age 70, of Plainfield, Ontario, passed away on October 28, 2026. Born on September 21, 1956, in Willmar, Minnesota, Pamela was the beloved and cherished daughter of Eleanore Jean Stroh, born in Millerville, Minnesota, USA, and Lloyd Aloysius Lehn, born in Brandon, Minnesota, USA.
Pamela’s life was marked by devoted love for her family, a gentle (yet stern) presence, and a remarkable skill for mentoring that enriched the lives of her family, friends and co-workers. Pam held a fierce sense of justice and a lifelong commitment to equality. As a feminist, she championed women and mentored them, and she insisted that every person be treated with dignity. Pam left the world in a better place than she found it, and the evidence is clearly seen among the people who loved her.
After graduation, Pam moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a nanny for several notable creative figures in the Malibu community. This ignited her interest in film and television. She moved back to Minnesota in the early 80s and joined a computer animation firm as their senior producer. It was during her work on the first half-hour computer animated television special that she met Scott Dyer.
Pam and Scott continued to work in the industry and in 1998, they moved to Toronto to work for Nelvana Limited, a global producer of children’s animated content. Pam produced the hit show Rolie Polie Olie for Disney and Backyardigans for Nickelodeon. Her talent and commitment were recognized at the highest level, including winning three Daytime Emmy Awards for Children’s Television—an achievement that reflected both excellence and an inspirational dedication to her craft.
In 2013, Pam received a double lung transplant at Toronto General Hospital. This anonymous gift of life gave her thirteen more years. Pam encouraged everyone she met to consent for organ donation.
On January 13, 2023, Pam married her beloved husband and best friend Scott Dyer.
Pam is survived by her treasured dachshunds, Jethro and Frederica, and preceded in death by dachshunds Angus, Wallace, and Tommy.
Pam is also survived by her siblings: sister Kay (and Jay) Jackson, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin USA; brother George (and Tammy) Lehn, Hutchinson, Minnesota, USA; sister Sue (and Mike) Edwards, New London, Minnesota, USA; brother Kenny (and Loretta) Lehn, Los Angeles, California, USA; brother Michael (and Sina) Lehn, Gibbon, Nebraska, USA; sister Marybeth (and Kurt) Schmidt, New London, Minnesota, USA, and brother-in-law Michael (and Wendy) Dyer, Bellbrook, Ohio USA.
She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews: Eleanore Jackson, New York, New York, USA; Sarah (and Max) Jackson, Tokyo, Japan; Hailey Olson, Sartell, Minnesota, USA; Courtney (and Brennen) Sietsema, Willmar, Minnesota, USA; Penelope Lehn, Los Angeles, California, USA; Nick (and Melissa) Prior, Tacoma, Washington, USA; Alesha (and Tim) Roach, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA; Ian Schmidt, New London, Minnesota, USA; Augustus Lehn, Gibbon, Nebraska, USA; Greg (and Jenna) Dyer, Flemington, New Jersey, USA; Patrick (and Vi) Dyer, Columbus, Ohio, USA; and Maddie (and Julius) de Castro, Columbus, Ohio, USA.

A celebration of life will be held in Minneapolis and in Toronto at a later date.
