My condolences to Pats family, friends, and colleagues. I was lucky to have been mentored by Pat at Sun Alliance in the late 80's. I'll remember Pat for her ability to retain a sense of humor and to stay calm when claims pressures mounted.

My deepest condolences to Uncle John, David, Ron and the rest of the family.  Pat will be sorely missed for her warmth and laughter. Pat was a very giving person who always thought of her family first.  We will miss seeing her at family gatherings with the Takeda family.  She was always quick to jump in to help.

Pat would often make me a loaf of bread from her bread machine - she added a touch of cinnamon to make it extra yummy! That's the kind of person she was - so kind, so generous and now, soooo missed and never forgotten!!

Pat was the most genuine person that I knew - always willing to help out.  I will miss her laughter, her cheery personality and the big bowl of jelly beans that she kept on the corner of her desk. The office will not be the same without her.

I am an Alberta lawyer who worked for Pat. She was a very bright, practical, and pleasant person. Pat was dedicated to her occupation, and obviously had much knowledge from broad experience. She'll be missed by many.

Warmth, love and condolences to the  Takeda and Aide family. Though I had never met Pat, I wish I had. From the moment we met Lisa, she has filled our lives and home with love, caring, wisdom and mirth, so anyone who she adores is held in great esteem by us, and her loss is also our loss for her sorrows are also ours. For Pat to be held in such high regard as to be a second Mom is indeed high honour. Lisa adopted us as she has been adopted by us, so truly Pat and Lisa are both of similar hearts, loving and welcoming and the joining of friendship to adopted family. I had the pleasure of working with Pat on a particularly challenging claim.  She was such a professional - truly first class.  I am so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing.  She will be missed by her colleagues in the industry.

Pat was always wonderfully supportive of me in my career, and she was always a joy to spend time with.  She will be missed.  My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Pat was such a welcoming person.  As a junior at MDD many many years ago, Pat was so kind to me and was always interested in how I was doing.  I will miss Pat more than I can express.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Our neighborhood and our church bring back such wonderful memories, and Pat was a part of those memories.  Beautiful friend who brought happiness to  everyone she knew. She will be missed.

It seems like just yesterday we were all together, singing and being all young and carefree. Such good memories.

So sorry about Pat. She was such a great  person, always willing to talk, have a laugh or an unexpected visitor, no matter how long it had been in between visits or calls.  We liked her very much and will miss her.  Great memories of the early days in the townhouses, our brunches and progressive dinners!  Especially     Pat's desserts!
