I remember Paul from Na Me Res (Native Men's Residence) in Toronto. He was always nice to me and showed a lot of love and respect to people who were trying their best in life. I just found out 25 minutes ago. It's sad. He was a good dude. Ill miss his humor and his good energy. Rest in Peace Paul Ponzi. You will be missed!!!

This is unbelievably devastating news. My condolences to all of you. Such a huge loss and gone too soon.

I live on the west coast now but up until 1992 ,I lived six houses away on Roseglen Cres.Paul and I played sports,etc  ,in our early years. Paul had a great sense of humour and was a good guy all around. The fun and laughter growing up on our street stays with me but now it is bittersweet knowing Paul is gone .God bless you Alice, Joseph, Sabrina and Michael and extended family.

Dear Alice,
 What can we say? This is the first funeral we have attended where we received more than we could give. You and Paul have raised such loving, respectful people. We were all greeted with hugs from your children even as they mourned. 
 The funeral was beautiful. We could see your thoughtful hand in every detail.Having all the Ponzi boys as pallbearers  , including  Uncle Frankie’s  John , must have made Uncle Paul smile. Seeing all your grandsons participating in honouring their uncle either as  altar boys or gift bearers was touching, The hymns and readings were perfect. We don’t know how you were able to do the first reading except you are a woman of faith. You and Sabrina are both wonderful role models of grace under pressure. Her beautiful and honest tribute to Paul is an example of both love and understanding of  the trials dear Paul suffered. May God bless you all. Know that Paul and all of you are in our prayers.

Firstly want to send my condolences to Aunt Alice, Joseph, Micheal, and Sabrina on the loss of son, and brother. I had the pleasure of spending time with Paul and Aunt Alice this summer as I traveled to Toronto for a wedding. I had many a conversation about cooking, planting crops, and natural seasonings for marinating. He was very passionate about food and I was the student in learning. I will miss you cousin Paul.

To Alice and all the Ponzi Family of Toronto.  From Francis, Joan and all the Paris Family in Nova Scotia.  It is with broken hearts that we reach across the miles, to share with you the bitter tears of the cross that you have once again been summoned to bear.  There are no adequate words to express our sorrow over such an untimely passing.  In as much as our Lord shed bitter tears at the death of His friend Lazarus, so its fitting that we too weep together as a family, so that all may see the unconditional love that binds this family together.  With broken hearts, I dare remind you, in this, your darkest hour, even when it seems that you have been deserted because you do not see the footprints in the sand, it is only fitting that the Lord carry us through.  And thus His promise, "I will never leave nor forsake you... I will carry you through."  With all our hearts, we love you, always and forever.  Rest easy Brother Paul, until one day when we are all summoned to meet our Creator.

I can't seem to find the right words to express how sorry I am to hear on Paul's passing.   It has been many years since we've spoken and yet all I have are fond memories of our time spent together in high school.  And although we grew apart I always wondered how he was and wished him the very best.   I have never forgotten Paul and the continuous laughs we had.    I extend my deepest sympathy to the Ponzi family.   He will be missed by many.  God bless....

My condolences to the Ponzi Family.

There was a time the four of us Paul, Lui, Frank and Peter were inseparable. Where one went, the others followed. I always thought of you as my little brother.
As the years went by we grew apart but you where always on my mind. Then about a year ago we were fortunate to find each other on social media.
We spoke about getting together for a coffee but again life got in the way.   I will never forget all the good times and laughs we had as teenagers. I can still see hear you laughing in my mind. 

RIP my Brother.  Until we meet again.
