The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Paula Francine Cameron was a kind and caring woman, who gave the best hugs and had the warmest smiles. If she knew you, she always had her way of making you feel loved. She’d always say, “I love you, you know.” And if you needed a shoulder to lean on, to hang out and chat, she was always there for you and you could count on feeling loved and appreciated after seeing her. It is never easy to say good-bye, and it is with deepest regrets that we had to say good bye to Paula and it's hard to fully put into words how much she will be missed and the positive impacts she had on each of us in her own way. Paula was born in Toronto on November 21, 1968. As a child, Paula spent much of her time taking care of her siblings, cooking and listening to music. Paula grew up having a really close relationship with and is survived by her sisters Michelle Miekle and Natasha Cameron. Cousin Kevin Haynes. Her daughter’s Chanequa and Chanel Cameron, grand daughters Keonah Cameron and Symphony Codrington, nieces and nephews, Keon Cameron, Jahquiele Cameron, Kamar Rush, Amina Miekle, Saudika Miekle, Mariam Miekle and Souliman Miekle. Paula passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 56 surrounded by loved ones and honored through a ceremony. In honor of Paula’s memory, her family shares the following poem and prays for peace, healing, and blessings for you and your loved ones.
Recipe for A Life Well-Lived, Bettina Van Vaerenbergh
Start off with faith and trust in God. Then add courage; you'll need a lot. Take a few dreams and lots of inspiration; Mix them with passion and dedication. Flavor with a spoonful of optimism, As well as with sufficient vision. Throw in some rewarding work, With satisfaction as a perk. A pint of perseverance is necessary, While the amount of patience may vary. Don't forget an ounce of thankfulness, And a full cup of love and tenderness. Add a few quality friends to the mix, And a pinch of adventure, just for kicks. Also, you need three cups of good thoughts, Zested with a million smiles or thereabouts.
Joy and laughter are indispensable, And a tad of hope, to be sensible. Throw in heaps of understanding, Because folks can be demanding.
