It is with great sadness that the family of “Pete” Adrien Patrick Villeneuve announces his passing on October 19, 2018 at the age of 76 years in the city of Toronto. He was born September 21, 1942 in Sudbury, to Albert “Tibé” and Loretta.

“Handy Man Pete” lived a full life focused on friends, family and his community. He loved Christmas and regularly volunteered to dress up as Santa for holiday parties and handing gifts out to children. He loved creating stained glass artwork, camping, working in his garden and entertaining his many friends. He would offer you help if you were in need, feed you if you were hungry or offer you a place to stay. He was a generous man with a big heart.

Pete will be forever remembered by his wife Anne-Marie, his children Derrick, Dean and Christian, his sister Anne (Roger) Carpenter, grandchildren Keirstin and Avandar, his extended family and many friends.

A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3rd from 4 to 8pm at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel located at 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON.

Memorial donations in memory of Pete may be made to the People with AIDS Foundation (www.pwatoronto.org), 200 Gerrard Street, Toronto, ON, M5A 2E6

A chance meeting with Pete half a dozen years ago has changed my life. We became instant friends and his hospitality drew me to visit him time and again over the years. We travelled together and shared many happy memories. He introduced me to many of Toronto's highlights, and through him I met the love of my life, now my partner.
He will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and dearly loved. My condolences to his family and huge circle of friends. Whenever we see a jolly Santa with a snow-white beard, it will be Pete smiling at us!

Love you, my friend! Dave Pope.
