Pietro Cerrito

Born on December 11th, 1929 in Corleone, Sicily, Italy and passed away on March 19th, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 96. He was a dedicated family man of quiet strength and enduring love.

He is reunited in death with his beloved wife Giuseppa and his dearly loved son Cesare. He will be forever missed by his cherished children Enzo (Enza), Carm, Claudio (Scott), Johnny, Pino (Krista), Massimo (Elsa) and his daughter in-law Irena. Adored nonno to Peter, Marie, Olivia, Rachel, Christian, Joseph, Mileyna, Bruno and Maya. He will always be remembered for his strength, calmness, smile and love of his family. Forever loved by all of his family and friends.

We celebrate a long and beautiful life for a wonderful man and loving father.

Resting at Jerrett Funeral Home at 1141 St.Clair Avenue West on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, from 4p to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on March 27th, 2026 at St. Clare Church, 1118 St.Clair Avenue West at 11am, followed by the Entombment at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St.Clair Avenue West.

PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.
