Raffaela Mercuri

Raffaela was the daughter of Antonio Perri and Felicia Mastroianni, and one of nine children. She immigrated to Canada in 1968 with two young children to join her husband Domenico Mercuri.

Raffaela is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Domenico Mercuri, her parents and many other beloved family members who passed on before her. May their souls all rest in peace.

Loving mother to Rosa (Michele), Maria (Domenico), and Antonietta. As Nonna, she was a steady and cherished guide to Vito (Anna), Domenic (Alessandra), Savina, and Jessica, and as Bisnonna, she was a treasured blessing to Alessia, Michael, and Stefano. Her family was at the centre of her life, and her care for them was constant, faithful, and deeply felt.

Her passing will leave a huge void, but her legacy of unity, strength and love for her family and friends will carry forward for generations.

Our Mother, found joy in the simple and meaningful rhythms of home and community. She loved to garden, bake, knit, and socialize, always ready to share warmth, conversation, and a welcoming spirit. Her Catholic faith was a foundation she lived by with sincerity and grace, and she was known for being helpful and for advocating for others.

In Jesus name we trust she is now in your loving hands.
