Ralph "Papa" McMahon passed away peacefully at home on October 20 at the age of 75. A patient and loyal husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ralph's quiet wisdom will be missed by his many family members, colleagues and friends. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Stephen); granddaughters Kaitlyn (Christopher) and Stephanie (Jeff); grandson Mason and his great-grandson Hayden.
A lifelong Montreal Canadiens fan, Ralph enjoyed the little things in life; humming along to a Johnny Cash song, helping friends in need, and a hot cup of coffee. His family takes peace in knowing that he will be reunited in heaven with his late wife Linda Leigh.
Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Avenue) from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it was Ralph's wish that donations be made to Toronto East General Hospital.
