To Aunt Joan and Kate,  sending our sincere condolences to you both. Uncle Reggie had a wonderful sense of humor and a truly positive outlook on life.  His life's work was amazing, helping people all over the world who otherwise would not have any support. His strong faith in God and love for his family was unsurpassed. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace Uncle Reg.

Reg was always "game" for a trip downtown to see the Blue Jays when family was in from out-of-town. We know he and Joan have followed the team closely over the years. We will always remember the quality time spent touring around and relaxing at their Toronto homestead with a nice meal (made with ingredients from the co-op, of course!). 
Every time we watch them play, we'll think of him (and Joan)...

It's that time of year when I think Reg will be in PEI for a visit. He is probably closer now to all of us.  But still, the world seems a bit emptier.  He was, and is, my hero and inspiration.

I am sorry to hear of Reg's death.  For folks in the Great Lakes-Saint Lawrence Region of KAIROS, Reg' s contributions were legendary. 
At our fall conferences, Reg always brought good ideas and proposed thoughtful solutions to deal with the issues of he day.  

For more years than I can remember, Reg was a reliable source of wisdom, strength, insight, inspiration and support. 

The memory of  Reg's passionate commitment to KAIROS and its initiatives is indeed a blessing.

We rarely saw Reg at KAIROS without Joan, his wife. To her we extend our condolences. 


I treasure being able to call Reg my friend. So much I value about him! I am especially touched that even in his final months he sought new ideas for a more just world. Recently, on reading a book about the history of the Jewish people, he voiced the idea that meetings focused on Palestine might begin with an acknowledgement of the church’s history in relation to the Jews, much as we begin our meetings now with an indigenous land acknowledgement. I am deeply grateful to Reg for that thought. Fair, truthful, filled with integrity, gentle and kind beyond measure, the pattern of Reg's life took on the shape of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, with whom he is now at peace. May Kate and Joan find that peace too.

Reg was a gentle soul and a fierce fighter for social justice. I remember with a great deal of fondness the times we spent discussing politics, talking about his own varied and fascinating life experiences, and just sharing a laugh, because he had a wicked sense of humour. Sincere condolences to his partner Joan and to all his family and friends. Reg will be much missed!
