Throughout Remington's life his theme was to give, give, give; he gave freely and expected nothing in return.  He understood and appreciated the beauty in all those with whom he came in contact.
This is reflected by your reflection of the times you have shared with Remington.

We know that though we weep and mourn the loss of such an outstanding human being who we were so blessed to have parent; we are not alone.  We accept and acknowledge each and everyone who had come to know Remington personally or through the eyes of other, share in our darkest days as well as in his sunny ways.

Your messages brings both tears as well as so much comfort; for these messages allow us to truly understand the depth of Remington Edwards character, his (Remington)light will never go dim.

I am hoping and praying that the loss that I am feeling for you and your family will make me stronger in life. To Rems Mother...I truly don't know how u are dealing with this.My one and only son just turned 21...he knew Rem from the store and shared my sorrow and has shared it since. I am a Mother and since the day he has been gone I look at his picture daily and wonder how you are. I hope and wish the best for you and yours......Remington was like my own, I don't know how you are going to move on but may God be with yours. I got your beautiful card from the funeral and I have set in on top on my aquarium where I know Rem would love it to be placed...around life!! May God be with you always....Julie.

Donald, our family would like to offer you and yours our deepest most heartfelt condolences. We just learned of your great loss. While it is human to feel pain our Lord tells us that your beloved son is with Him in a better place. Hold strong and do not anger but give thanks for the time you shared and the blessing that was your son.

Remington was a wonderful friend who cared deeply about those around him.  I was deeply saddened by the news that he had passed and wish I had know sooner.  I have lost a friend who can't ever be replaced.  Remington and I attended Centennial College and Ryerson University together and we were always competitive, bottom line he almost always was ahead of me and his class.  Graduated with honors, "Rem" was full of potential and would have taken the world by storms.  You will be missed, may god bless your soul and your family in this time...Until we meet again!

Rem, you showed us that no one is inferior to God's calling on our life whatever that may be. It hurts so bad that you are not here, but I know where you are, there is no pain, no worry and no fears. I pray for you all the time and I now know that you can hear my prayers.  We love you so much and we can't wait to see you.

To loose a sibling who has done everything to make sure everyone within his environment was more than happy, gave unselfishly, loved endlessly, lived humbly,spoke wisely,listened attentively, had high ambitions, challenged himself daily,challenged others to never settle,cared with an honest heart,was never easily influenced by societies views but assessed situations with his own mind, never allowed animosities to interfere with his kindness...REM, REM, REM. They will only understand what they know or what they think they know, or the half told stories that they will hear. They will never understand the relationship that we had as brothers and sisters.Depth has meaning and with every depth there is always an underlying message. To understand life is to understand that there is no one answer because nothing can explain why we go through what we go through. Although there are people who share similar paths as we do for they come from families of there own;they will have there own version of there relations. You entered this world and you know you were loved. You left this world and I know you still knew you were loved. Now you are in heaven receiving the greatest love ever. You are experiencing the true meaning of unconditional love and I am sad that you are gone but happy for your new everlasting life in heaven and WE(Shaun,Stephanie,Me,Nathan and Deniqua)WILL SEE YOU IN A TIME WHERE TIME IS NEVER ENDING. Please  accept my condolences on your loss.  I knew Remy from playing  basketball over several years at the YMCA.  He always had a smile on his face and was a very respectful young man, (and a very talented basketball player!).

I have had the pleasure of knowing Remmington as a Customer Service Rep. at Metro and also as a co-worker.  It was always a delight interacting with him.  Remington had the warmest smile and was always in high sprits.  I know that this is a difficult time for you and your family, but I pray that you take courage in the fact the he is with his father right now.  Remington is always going to be with you.  When you pass by the mirror on those difficult days, you will see a reflection of him there.  You will smile and see him smiling back at you.  It may be a glimps of him at a Lakers game on TV or just the feel of his warmth on the days that are just to hard to continue. Take heart that Remington is looking over you and will always be with you.  You  may even see him in the smile on the faces of his sibblings.  You may hear his voice at time when they are speaking to you and in their laughter.  He was loved and will always be remembered by those he has touched. A great joy to be around, Remington influenced my life from the first time i met him. He taught me to pursue my dreams and never quit, wether competing on the court or making jokes off of it he always brought out the best in everyone around him. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

There is no greater gift in life than when one person offers their caring, supportive heart to another person in need.  At the Distress Centre, Remington showed people in our community that he was compassionate about those who were going through a difficult time .  He was selfless in his efforts to support those in need.  His gentle words, easy going style and loving heart were attributes that made Remington the admirable man he has grown to be.  In seeing his compassion for people while at the Distress Centre we can only imagine the magnitude of his warmth that radiated through family and close friends.  We feel honoured to have known Remington in the capacity we did.  He is an example to many and his genuine goodness is something we should all strive for.  Remington will always remain in our hearts and his legacy will last for an eternity in the hearts of those who knew him or who were touched by him.

Dear Heather, Remington, was so very special to me personally we shared a common belief in God and many funny moments at Metro. He shared much wisdom that goes ahead of him and we will never forget him not ever! He was one of my true friends and I greatly miss him.
