It’s been 3 years my baby boy, you are greatly missed and love by your 3 girls. Life is not the same. But I know you always look up to us. I just wish everything is the same. I love you so much, please continue to hug us especially on our lows. Much love to you, Papa!

Jun was the first person to welcome and help us when we arrived in Canada as new immigrants in February 2008. Jun picked us up at the airport, found a place for my family and guide and showed us around.  We’ve worked and dreamed together.  

Jun is a very helpful, kind person, and has a big DREAM for his family especially, his children. He is a very responsible, protective and caring husband to Wishky and father to Resky and Raissa. 

Jun, I can still remember, one time we were at Tim Hortons (it was around 2am), we were discussing our plans and ideas for a bright future of our family in Canada.  

Though our busy lives had made communication less frequent, you made it a point to text Miami as soon as you learned about my health condition in 2019 expressing your concern and support. The last time we saw each other, lagi mo sinasabi sa akin “kaya mo yan”.  March 12, 2020(COVID19 has already been declared a pandemic and we had a flight to California the next day) nagtext ka kay Miami at pinapaalala na mag ingat ako lagi at iwas sa maraming tao.   Salamat, Jun.

I don’t know how to put Tito Jun’s personality into words, but I do know that everywhere he went, he knew how to lift the mood. He never failed to make everyone laugh, as his contagious laugh made it hard to do so. I vividly remember our trip to Florida in 2014, and how I arrived many hours later. I was sad that I couldn’t enjoy Disney World and Universal Studios to its fullest because of my minor concussion, but Tito Jun always cheered me up after each ride he went on; he took me to the gift shops, bought me ice cream, and offered me anything hehe. Even though you can’t take us on these trips anymore, you’ll always be with us everywhere we go. Thank you, Tito Jun.

"There's something about childhood friends that you just can't replace"

How can we ever forget you Jun, 
our neighbor, childhood friend, our little brother as we become family,   the childhood memories of us - you, Jeanette, Ogie, Jr. Randy, and I in playing all the famous games back then. taguan, patintero, piko, tumbang preso, pongpong lata, barilbarilan, etc ... name it and we know it. Tirelessly,  we enjoyed every minute of those days not to mention all other bondings we had even when we're grown ups.  Through the years we remain barkada together with our own families. We really have shared a lot .
Thank you for the wonderful memories to be cherished forever.

What only saddens us now is whenever we remember how excited you are that upon retirement happy days will be here again for us, the "buhay pinas" that you always miss. But maybe God urgently needs you now to be an angel.  He has better plans for you and your family.  Its reasons we may not fully understand for now but maybe soon God will allow us to realize them.

Now, we are just being comforted by the thought that you are now with our creator in His promised paradise. You will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. 

To the BEST TITO ever, 

When I was young, I remember always feeling sad in the lead up towards Christmas. All my cousins will go home and parade all their "aguinaldo's" from their long list of "ninongs" and "ninangs." I, on the other hand, only ever receive presents from my Ninang Jeanette. But thanks to you, every year I receive an "ampaw" filled with your "aguinaldo." To others it might seem like a little thing, but to a little kid like me at the time, it redefines the idea of Christmas. That is love and generosity. After all, that's one of the many things we love about you - your never ending generosity and selflessness. 

You always remember me and my siblings, Lloyd and Angel. You treated us as your own when our Mama and Papa were working overseas. Thank you, for being our second father. Thank you, for keeping us happy with your funny jokes amidst our parents' ventures overseas.

In our last conversation, you asked me when my graduation is. You then asked what "pa-graduate" (graduation present) I would like. Although I am now a grown adult, you never  skimp on showing your support, appreciation and generosity. You are exceptionally thoughtful. 

Whilst most of my memories of you are from my younger years, you will never be forgotten. I will tell my children how great their Lolo Jun is. They will see their Ate Resky and Ate Raissa as great role models. And I will proudly say how well they were raised by their Lolo Jun and Lola Wishky. 

Thank you for everything. For being a remarkable family man. For teaching us that family always comes first. For showing us that it's okay to take a break and go on little trips with family and friends. For showing us the importance of making happy memories. And above all, thank you for being a part of our lives.

Tito Jun! 

Time flies, I can still remember that day when you and your family were migrating to Canada. I was so happy for you and also sad at the same time, because you have become sort of my 2nd Dad when my parents were not with us in the Philippines. I will never forget how defensive you were for us, how you would crack jokes that are not too funny if others do it, but you have that unique ability to deliver bad jokes into a good one! 

You always knew I loved music, hence why you bought me a Phillips MP3 Player, which I think is in our house in the Philippines somewhere, I would love to find this and keep it as a remembrance of you. You would even accompany me to Lemery just to be able to go to Internet Cafes and burn music into a CD and play it in your car back then. You were so cool! 

Oh let's not forget the friendly backyard basketball games with Tito Ervs. Will definitely miss those, I wish we had the chance to play Ball again...

I also remember one time we were in the Airport and a person approached you, asking "Sir, kayo po ba si Aga Muhlach?" Hehe. We weren't shocked knowing you the most good-looking Uncle! 

Salamat Tito Jun, I hope you are doing great up there in Heaven! You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.  We love you!

Tito Jun is one of the greatest men I have ever known. He takes care of his family and friends like no other - many would describe him as the perfect family man (I know I would). He was also a very charismatic guy and he sure knows how to entertain any crowd with his seemingly never-ending stories and perfectly delivered dad jokes (which were actually hilarious, by the way). And as many others have mentioned, his presence lights up the entire room wherever he goes. He just really had a knack for lifting people’s spirits you know? Needless to say, Tito Jun is my role model, my idol, my favourite uncle, and my favourite drinking buddy in family get-togethers.

I would always look forward to these family adventures that we try to do every year. One of my fondest memories with him is our family trip to Las Vegas and LA. Could you imagine the patience this man has? He drove the entire time we were there and he’d be behind the wheel for hours constantly, yet he never showed any signs of irritation or impatience. Not to mention I’ve never seen this guy road rage! One really hot and humid night, we went on a walk along the Vegas strip and we happened to pass by this beer stand and he pulled me aside to buy us a nice cold pint of beer. Exaggerations aside, that was hands down, the best pint of beer I’ve ever had. 

Thank you for all the wonderful memories you’ve given us and thank you for being such a loving brother to Mama and Ninong/Tito to Kuya Anwell, Alexine and me. I look forward to having a drink with you again and hear more of your stories and jokes when the time comes. But until then, I will take care of our girls so don’t worry too much up there. You will always be in our hearts and in our minds - please continue to watch over us. Miss and love you loads, my most handsome Tito.

Kuya Jun, I will always remember you as a kind and generous person. Thank you for welcoming me to your home and that was the time  when I witnessed how a great husband you are to Ate Wishky and loving father to Resky and Raissa. There was never a day where you forgot to show and tell us how much you love us.
I am going to miss your hugs and kisses, watching basketball games every night with you, and laughing with you whenever you found a funny video. Even though I grew up to be taller than you, you still cuddled me up on the couch at night because you said I was your forever baby. Thank you for never failing to make us laugh and smile. Hey, brother! Never thought this would be our last photo together. I remembered we were comparing our loafers when Wishky took this picture. You even joked around saying you can be a “Barangay Captain” with this look. I’m just glad that we took every chance possible to go on short trips like this and spend time together with the whole family. This means a lot to us. You’ve been the coolest uncle in the planet, acting silly around your nephews, Anwell & Aleck, always asking, “Sino ang pinakaguwapo?” Of course, the glory is yours, Jun! Good looks aside, you can quickly transform from being serious to being completely funny and hilarious!

Thank you for these precious times. You will surely be missed. Your memories will stay in our hearts forever.
