It is with great sadness that we announce that after a hard 9 year battle with Parkinson’s our dear Richard Schappert aged 72, Husband to June for 40 years, Father to Julie(Mark), and Bradley, Grandfather to Erika(Andrew), Kylie, and Kenzie, Brother to Terry(Anne), Debbie(Randy), and Michael(Cyndi) and their families, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children and grandchildren on February 3rd at Michael Garron Hospital.
Richard spent most of his career as a Letter Carrier for Canada Post where he was a friend to many.
He enjoyed spending his time reading, doing puzzles, and watching reality TV with his wife June.
As there will be no funeral or visitation the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations please be made to Parkinson’s Canada.
