Beloved wife of the late Joseph Jardim (of Guyana) Loving mother of Rita Veronica Sutherland, Diane McGinn, Mary Myers, Joseph Jardim, Sylvia Margaret Gonsalves, and Rose Baldeo. Cherished Grandmother of Laurence Gonsalves, Jason Jardim, Emily Gonsalves, Rachel Gonsalves, Sarah Baldeo, Shane Baldeo, Jessica Jardim, Jose Jardim. Great-grandmother of Alexander Gonsalves. Rita is survived by her siblings Monica Salazar, Alty (Joe) Figueira, Consuela Ferguson, Alvaro Figueira, and her many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the staff and volunteers at Leisureworld O'Connor Court for their loving care for nearly eight years. Family and friends may gather at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, ON (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves E.) on Friday March 12, 2010 from 2–4 & 7–9pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. David's Presbyterian Church, 1300 Danforth Road, Scarborough ON (north of Eglinton Ave. E.) at 2pm on Saturday March 13, 2010. Cremation. Reception to follow service at St. David's Village.
