I was shocked to hear of Bob's passing and I sendmy condolences to the Pugsley family.
Bob and I began our teaching careers in September, 1961 at Parkdale C.I,.  Our years there were enjoyable as we improved our teaching and coaching skills.  Near the end of my career we worked together once again.  This time as administrators at Forest Hill C.I.  I will always remember Bob for his professionalism, his clear perspective on things and, most of all, his friendship.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Pugsley who was a geography teacher of mine at Parkdale CI in the early 60s. Geography was a challenge for me as I'm sure it was for Mr. Pugsley teaching us but he did it with humour and patience, and left a genuine good impression on those he taught. My sincere condolences to the family.

It is with sadness that I have heard about Bob.  I was a teacher at Northern Secondary in the 80s when he was a Vice Principal.  He was always supportive and had a good sense of humor.  I remember when he broke his leg and he continued his work pace without any complaint.  A real trooper!

We're still in shock over the news of Bob's passing. It's unbeieveable as he seemed to be doing so well after his first bout at the hospital.  The news from Tom just after we returned from a 3 week trip was devastating.  Our condolences. He will be missed greatly.

Sorry to read  of Bob's passing.  We hadn't  seen one  another for many years, but have lots of De Vere Gardens memories as we raised our children.  Our warm thoughts  go out to all of you during these sad days.

I worked with Bob for many years at WTSS. He was the kind of man you would look forward to seeing every day because of the warmth and good humour he would bring to all occasions.

Mr. Pugsley was a very gentle and truly decent man. As a student, he was someone I always felt was looking out for my best interest and his love for teaching couldn't help but rub off on you. His passing has brought back fond memories of the good times at West Toronto Secondary in the mid 70s.

So sorry for your loss.  Bob and I worked together as the admin/leadership team at the TBE Summer School for several years.  His expertise, energy and enthusiasm was much appreciated.  I was really glad to renew our friendship at the Leaside HS class of '57 reunion in June. Bob's friendly smile and sense of humour will be missed. Judy Lou, I was so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I had not seen him for a few years but we chatted once in awhile and exchanged e-mails.  This is a difficult time for all of you. Please express to your sons how sad we all feel for them on the loss of their father.  He loved them so much and was so proud of them and his grandchildren.
I will never forget your kindness to our two little girls, Kelly & Michelle, Judy Lou, when my marriage to Neal Fisher broke up.  Bob always spoke well of you, cared about you and considered you a friend. All of you will miss him so much.I would love to attend the lakeside service for Bob if old friends are included. Bob will be so missed.  I have so many youthful happy memories of him.  He was the master of ceremonies at my wedding to his friend Neal Fisher and Bob was the god father to my daughter Kelly.  As an old friend I would love to attend the lakeside service for him

Condolences to the family.  I have many fond memories of Mr. P. at Parkdale CI in the 60's. He took us to a Basketball Game in his Sunbeam - I sat in the back seat and shorted out his battery.  Will miss him  Ted

Bob was a member of the Oakwood CI Geography Department in the late 1960's early 1970's.  He was a valued member of the department who had a great sense of humour and a great way with students.  I am sorry to read of his passing, and send my condolences to his family.  He will be sorely missedc by all who knew him.
