Born in Toronto on March 17, 1933, Ron will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, whose love for his family was at the heart of his life.
Ron was the beloved husband of 67 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Mark Roberts (Deborah) and was predeceased by his daughter, Carmella Ann Roberts, in 1992.
He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jade Ivanov (Alex) and Anthony Roberts, and his great-grandson August Ivanov.
Ron cherished the many special times he spent with Mark and Carmella, sharing fun activities and creating lasting memories together, especially enjoying hockey and baseball.
A lifelong sports fan, Ron proudly followed the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leaf’s, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Ron’s kindness, love, and devotion to his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday October 7, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Parish, 162 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
