Ruth Hopper was the loving and
steadfast companion, friend and
beloved wife of the late William
(Bill) Hopper. Born March 21, 1930 in
Ottawa, daughter of William
Attwood Young and Marian
Waldron. Survived by her sisters
Nora Stoskopf (and Neil), Pat Witter
(and Glen) and Joan McGuiness
(and John) and predeceased by her
sister Diantha and their families.
Survived by her sons, daughtersin-
law and their children David and
Irena Hopper and Alexander and
Jacob, Russell and Barb Hopper and
Sara and Jordan and Stephen and
Julie Hopper and Kristin, Kyla and
Jared. Ruth was a nurse, nursing
educator, educator, wife and mother.
Fiercely protective and proud of her
family and friends, she will be
missed by all. A visitation will be
held on Monday, September 20th,
from 6 to 9 p.m. at Jerrett Funeral
Home, located at 660 Kennedy Road
in Scarborough. A funeral service
will be held Tuesday, September 21st
at 3 p.m., also at Jerrett Funeral
Home, located at 660 Kennedy Road
in Scarborough. For those who wish,
