It is with deep sadness that the family announce the unexpected passing of a beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Salvatore Chiarella was born on July 31, 1962 in Toronto and passed away on May 4, 2026 at the young age of 63 years.
He has been reunited in heaven with beloved parents Maria Costantina and Saverio Chiarella, along with older sister Tina.
Loving brother of Antonella (Mauro Di Lauro) and cherished Zio of Celine (Salvatore), Raquel (Simon) and Julien. Salvatore will be dearly missed by all of his cousins and their families in Italy.
He will be remembered for his love of music whether listening to good old classic rock or playing his guitar that his nieces and nephew decorated with stickers while he played when they were younger. He will also be remembered for his love of espresso and always had some ready to enjoy.
Salvatore will always be missed by all his family , neighbours and friends.
Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave. W., (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, May 7th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 8th at 10:00am at St. Nicholas of Bari Church. PLEASE NOTE, on the morning of the Funeral Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church to allow all of the family some private time prior to Mass. Parking can be located on St Clair and the surrounding side streets including a Green P parking lot located on Greenlaw.
Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
