Salvatore Zinga was born on February 6, 1929 in Apriano Santo Stefano, Provincia Di Consenza, Calabria, Italy and passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 93 years.
Beloved husband of Maria Zinga.
He is the loving Father of Cesira (Donovan), Giulia (Guido), Antonietta (John), Michele (Rose), and Eugenio (Toni). Cherished grandfather of Loreta, Samantha, Michael, Sofia, Matteo, and Vanessa.
He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm
The Funeral Mass will be on Friday February 18, 2022 at 12:00pm at St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church
(On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 20 minutes prior to the service. As you arrive, you will be asked to provide your name and phone number. Due to the restrictions limiting the number of people in the church, once the capacity has been reached no one else will be able to come in). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
