Santina Santarossa was born on September 13, 1934 in Azzano Decimo, Pordenone, Italy. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, on July 8, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 89 years.
Santina was known for always being full of energy and was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially around the dinner table. She could always be found doing what she loved, either cooking for the family, sewing beautiful outfits or puttering around in her beautiful garden.
She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Angelo (passed away in 2001).
Beloved mother of Ornella (Nick Caccavella) and Loris Santarossa. Loving Nonna of Elissa (Jonathan Sun), Daniele Caccavella (Casey Fieldman) and cherished Bisnonna of Oliver and Amelia. She will be missed by her siblings; Sergio Durofil (Lucia), Alda (Tony Pigat), her many nieces, nephews and their families.
Santina will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Santina Santarossa be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
