Born in Cairo, Egypt, on November 8, 1954, Sherif was the beloved son of the late Nabil Khouzam and Luna Nosseir. In 1994, he immigrated to Canada with the goal of building a better future for his family - a decision that reflected his dedication, perseverance, and deep love for those closest to him. Sherif is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Hanaa, his children, Sandra and Tony, his cherished grandchildren, and his brothers, Assem and Raafat.
Nothing brought Sherif greater happiness than becoming a grandfather and he embraced his role as their Gedo. He treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, playing with them and holding them in his arms for as long as he possibly could.
Sherif had a lifelong curiosity about the world. He could often be found reading about history or keeping up with current events. Though his interests were broad, he was a man of simple pleasures, content with quiet evenings at home surrounded by the people he loved.
Sherif will be remembered for his warmth, humility, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our thoughts.
