Shirley was born May 3, 1933 and went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ April 17th, 2023. Survived by brother David Baker (Pauline) and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley lived a life of service dedicated to her Lord with the desire that all whose lives she came into contact with would come to know and love Jesus as Saviour. She was very devoted in her faith and was a long time member of Calvary Church.
After graduating from Toronto Bible College, Shirley worked with Toronto City Mission before taking a secretarial position at Toronto Jewish Mission from which she retired in 1998.
A private family Graveside Service for Shirley will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery, 3885 Stouffville Rd, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 3X1. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at Calvary Church, 746 Pape Ave, Toronto, ON M4K3S7.
