At René Goupil House (Jesuit Infirmary) Pickering, Ontario on Friday, March 16, 2012, in his 99th year and 81st year as a member of the Society of Jesus. Father Drummond was born in Guelph, Ontario. After his ordination in 1945, he was a professor of biology at Loyola College, Montreal (Concordia) for more than 30 years. Failing health in 2008 forced Father to move to Pickering. He will be sadly missed by his brother Wilbert, nieces, nephews, and colleagues. Visitation to be held on Monday, March 19th from 7 – 9 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa - Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre, Liverpool Road North, Pickering, ON. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20 2012 at 11 o’clock in the St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa – Jesuit Spiritual Renewal Centre. Interment in the Jesuit Cemetery – Guelph, Ontario on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. In memory of Father Drummond, donations may be made to the Jesuit Development Office – 43 Queen’s Park Crescent East, Toronto, Ontario M5S 2C3.
