Mrs. Viola Piccininni

In her 90th year and after a brief illness, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at York Central Hospital on February 4th, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Joseph and siblings Lillian and John DeFrancesco, Vi will be dearly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law Joseph and Sandra, Paul and John and Sharon; and her loving grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Caroline, Madelyn, Gabriella, Allison and Marietta, who provided her joy. Born and raised in Toronto, Vi was a long serving teacher at Central Technical School and was involved with retired teachers organizations for many years. The family extends its sincere gratitude to the staffs at Thorne Mill on Steeles retirement residence and York Central Hospital. Friends may call at the TRULL "NORTH TORONTO" FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.), on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 from 5pm - 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 in the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (On Yonge Street just south of Lawrence Avenue) at 11 am.
