It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Violet Schalkoort at her home. She is the beloved mother of Rachael, Ramona, Robert and Rebecca who preceded her in death. She is also the beloved grandmother of Ryan, Tye, Zoey and Abby. Violet, affectionately called Bubbles, is the third daughter of 6 girls born to Victor Harmon and Catherine Walsh in London, England. Violet and her youngest sister Brenda are survived by June, Maureen, Linda and Ellen. She had a wonderful positivity that will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, CA, on June 7, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and a Reception at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, CA.
