Born in Acerenza, in the province of Potenza, Basilicata, Italia, Vittoria carried her Italian roots with her throughout her life, making her home in Toronto, Ontario.
Our mother and Nonna was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering determination, and a fiercely independent spirit. She knew her own mind and spoke with conviction. Her strong will, spirited personality, and tender moments will remain vivid in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her devoted and loving children, whose special bonds with her were shaped by a lifetime of shared experiences, affection, and care; her son-in-law and daughters-in-law, with whom she shared meaningful family ties; her loving grandchildren, who will treasure their conversations, family traditions, and familiar moments with Nonna; and her great-grandchildren, for whom time with her became a cherished part of their childhood. She will also be remembered by her loving siblings, extended family, and friends.
We will miss her voice, her presence, and the familiar ways that made her uniquely ours. We are grateful for the time we shared and for every opportunity to offer her love and comfort.
We find peace in knowing that God welcomes our mom and Nonna into His loving embrace, where her beloved husband, Claudio; her cherished daughter, Adele; her loving parents Paolo and Cristina; and the loved ones who went before her receive her with open loving arms.
Rest peacefully, Mamma and Nonna. Held in Heaven’s embrace, you will remain forever in our hearts.
