Welcomed home by his Lord and Saviour on January 26th, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Joanne Tyers and the late Barbara Tyers. Loving father of Lynn Lavender (Gerald) and Catherine O’Donnell (Leonard). Cherished grandfather (“Hop”) of Cara, David and Casie. Dear brother of Olive, Kenneth, Stanley, Marvin, and Sharron (Brightman). Predeceased by his father and mother William and Hazel Tyers, his brothers Joseph, Carl and Harvey, and sister Hazel (Grierson). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday February 4th, 2017 from 10am-12pm at Trull Funeral Home Danforth Chapel, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, with service to follow at 12:00 pm. A catered reception will follow the service from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens will commence after the reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Covenant House Toronto.
