My deepest sympathy to Gloria, Carolyn, Joanne, Frieda, Conrad, and Duncan, during this sad time with the passing of Auntie Wilma. As I reflect on our childhood,and all the wonderful times our families spent together.....especially, me and Frieda, (always fighting off the twins)! I will also never forget Carolyn, and how she took me in when I was living in Alberta. Lots of childhood memories, thanks to our parents! They are now once again altogether, probably partying!

Dear Gloria, Carolyn, Joanne, Frieda, Conrad and Duncan,

Deepest sympathy from myself, Christine, Samantha and Emmalie.  My family had the pleasure of visiting with Aunt Wilma for several years at Christmas time.  Samantha and Emmalie were struck by her kindness and hospitality, and they especially remember the banquet for her 85th birthday.

For myself, I will always remember with great fondness my visits to Brookdale Avenue as I was growing up.  Whether it was a family get-together or coming on my own.  You were like a second family.  Aunt Wilma was a wonderful person, always thinking of other people.

Let us cherish her memory and we should strive to be as gracious a host as she was.

Dear Conrad, Judy, Kaitlin and Jonny...we were so blessed to have met Wilma on a few occasions at the hockey rink during our Toro days and will always remember her beautiful smile and sweet personality. Dear Gloria, Carolyn, Joanne, Frieda, Conrad, & Duncan - Uncle Henry & I were so sadden to hear the news about your mother.  She is such a classy lady, just beautiful, both inside & out.  I know that all you guys were so supportive right to the end, setting up a vigilant schedule during her illness at home, in the hospital, & at Belmont House. You may not realize it, but your mother was very aware of the sacrifice that you did during the many months that she travelled on that difficult journey.  She told us that you were so good to try & bring her favourite food, ever so hopeful, altho her appetite was dwindling.  She knew that it was taking you away from the routine of your lives & focusing on her.  You can be sure that she was ever so grateful & at peace with herself that you all loved her so much, never complaining.
