Born Zoe Hamilton in 1943, she moved to Canada from England in the early 1960’s. In Toronto, she met the man who would become her husband, James Duffy. They married in 1968, and had three children, Scott, Kelly and Jaime.
After losing her husband to cancer 35 years ago, Zoe blazed her own path, raising her children alone. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Lupus, a disease which caused challenges from time-to-time throughout the rest of her life.
She is survived by her three kids and their spouses (Bart, Andre and Rafa), her grandkids Rouslan, Isabella and Chuck, and a great-granddaughter Melody. She was preceded in death by her husband James and her grandson Johnathan.
Visiting hours will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home at 660 Kennedy Road in Scarborough on Thursday August 6th from 4-8 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Friday August 7th at St Bonaventure’s Catholic Church at 10:30am, with burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to express sympathy are encouraged to consider a memorial contribution to Lupus Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
