JOHNSTON, ALICE MARGARET of Torrance , passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2002. She was born October 8, 1907 in Prairie View, Iowa and resided in the So. Bay for the last 42 years. Alice is survived by her devoted son, Michael Johnston and his wife, Eileen Ernest of Claremont, CA. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 PM with Rosary recitation at 7:00 PM...BOTH at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA, 90503. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Torrance, CA. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
