Dearest Aruna,
I thought I was waking up from a bad dream.  I called you on New Year's day of 2023. Your phone was disconnected. I sent you messages thru facebook,no response. My daughter helped me search your name in the obituary site. I was intensely shocked, but reality set in. You left us behind. I sobbed for you!. Aruna, if you can hear me, I deeply cherished our friendship, your kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness and generosity. Your presence in  my life is one of the best presents God has gifted me.

But I am very happy for you , you are finally reunited with your husband who had been waiting for you for 45 years? What a  grand celebration.  I will dearly miss you, Aruna everyday of my life. Till we meet again. Love you, Aruna.
