
Beloved matriarch, Audrey Davaz was born in London, England on November 16, 1910 and passed away on July 16, 2010, in Torrance, CA. She was the second of four children born to Gilbert and Winifred (Ritchie) Heathcote.
A child in WWI, she survived the Zeppelin raids on London. As a young woman, she became a precision dancer with the John Tiller Girls. Later, as a model she posed for luminaries such as Augustus John and Henry Moore; her portraits appeared on the magazine covers of WOMAN and WOMAN'S JOURNAL.
During the London Blitz, she was a housewife with young children. After WWII, she continued modeling and in 1958, she immigrated to California with her children.
Audrey was predeceased by her elder son Anthony; her sister Vivien Heathcote Edwards and brother Gordon Heathcote. She is survived by her loving children, Jale' (Myron) Pullen of Manhattan Beach, CA;Christina Sheffield of Cayucos, CA; Peter Davaz of Scottsdale, AZ and her sister Paddy Thomas of Sussex, England; grandchildren, Barbara, Stephen and Christopher Davaz; Richard(Tammy), Sean, Alexander(Maxine), and Jeremy Sheffield; Michael (Amy) and Briana Pullen; great-grandchildren, Matthew Iacovone; Christopher (Weng Ping) Davaz; Suzanne (Ilker) Coskun; Summer, Alex, and Olivia Sheffield; Eamon and Egan Pullen; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
