A woman whose strength and faith was as big as her heart, Audrey Banda Escobar passed away on Tuesday February 2nd, 2016. She was born to Javier and Mary Cuevas on August 24th, 1965 in Torrance, Ca. In 1982 she met the love of her life, Herbert Escobar, and four years later they married and moved to Downey, Ca. There they led a life of happiness, road trips and lots of coffee. Known to friends and loved ones as “Aud” or “Lela,” she is survived by her husband Herbert, her sister Renee, brother-in-law Erik and nieces Lauren, Yolanda and Samantha. The Rosary will take place on Saturday February 6, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary 1223 Cravens Ave. Torrance, Ca. Services will be held at St. Raymond’s Church 12348 Paramount Blvd. Downey Ca. on Monday February 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment immediately following at Green Hills Cemetery at 27501 South Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
