Passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 16, 2007 after a courageous 15 year battle with Lupus. Brandon was born in Riverside on June 10, 1980 and moved to Torrance when he was six years old. Brandon is survived by his mother Carol Gonzales, his sister Bardette Fisher and nephews Eric and Joey Fisher. He is also survived by his loving grandparents, Earl and Tommye Carter along with a large extended family. Brandon was an avid fisherman who fished many local lakes and frequently took his favorite charter boat out of Redondo for a day of deep sea fishing. Brandon told his grandfather just four days before he died "the sea belongs to me and that is where I want to be......:. His wishes will be respected. Rice Mortuary will handle the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus and Kidney Foundations. Brandon will be missed by all in his family but his memory will remain in our hearts forever. His cousin is quoted as saying "he was the bravest person I have ever known".
