Charles Lester Rose, Jr.

Rose Jr., Charles Lester, age 67, of Rancho Palos Verdes, passed away on Sunday, April 15th, 2007 with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Los Angeles on, January 3rd, 1940, to the late Charles Sr. and Louise Rose. Chuck lived most of his live in the South Bay area and was an active member of St James Catholic Church. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Marie Rose. He also leaves behind Sister, Louise (Doug) Montgomery of Moreno Valley, CA, Son, Mark (Julie) Rose of Huntington Beach, CA, Daughter, Christie Rose of Redondo Beach, CA, Daughter, Carly (Tom) Funk of Torrance, and Step Son, Richard (Rindy) Mahoney of Torrance, CA. Chuck, as we all called him, spent the last 35 years of his career in the real estate industry, most recently at Home Partners. Loved by all, Chuck was a loving, generous and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend that enjoyed life, traveling, football, and race cars. A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Monday, April 23, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. A reception will follow in St. James' Hall from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M
