We are so sorry for your loss. Our son Doug ran Cross Country and Track with Chris in 2001. Chris was a great young man and well liked. Chris, I miss you so much; your smile, positive attitude, intelligence, and watching South Park and the Daily Show together.  You taught me so much, and brightened many of my days when coming home from work had tired me.  I will try and remember the smiles and fun times through the tears.  You will be in my heart always. All my memories of Chris seem to be happy ones. He always had a smile on his face with a joke to put one on yours. He made me laugh all the time which made life that much more enjoyable when he was around. I will truly miss him. I am very sorry for your loss Myers family, your son was a great man.

I remember Chris very well from when he was one of my students at Madrona Middle School- I was either the principal or asst. principal at the time.  He was a nice young man, and it was wonderful to hear about how well he did at Torrance High after he left Madrona.      My thoughts and prayers go with the family.  When I heard about his death at the TUSD School Board meeting, I instantly pictured Chris' face- and while his picture in the Daily Breeze showed a man,not a boy, I recognized him right away.      God be with you at this time.

DearJanet Larry and Emily,      Our family would like to send our love to you and our sorrow for the loss of Christopher. We have always felt especialy close to Chris and it has made us feal special that Chris still came with you on your visit on vacation. Annie and I were just talking about how fun it was when Chris was playing the claronet before we left for Robins party. Shooting off fire works will never be the same with out him. Do you remember when we had not heard the go kart in a wile when Taylor and Chris were back in the woods. Sure enouph they flipped it!
