It’s with great sadness the family of Gilbert Gomez announces his passing on March 17, 2019 at the age of 44. Gilbert was born to Gilbert and Joan Gomez on November 26, 1974 in Redondo Beach, California. He will be forever and lovingly remembered by his mother Joan Gomez, his children Sierra, Joey and Michael; sisters Cathe Rodriguez of Redondo Beach, Virginia (Willie) Sanchez of Greenville, Illinois and Darlene Gomez of Redondo Beach. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, countless cousins and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert.
Gilbert loved being near the beach, fishing and spending time with his family; he also enjoyed coaching his daughter Sierra in soccer.
