Born in Torrance, Ca. on April 13, 1933, Hal passed away in Redondo Beach on Jan. 17, 2004 surrounded by his loved ones. Hal was a Korean War Naval Aviator, a South Bay contractor for over 40 years and a third generation native Californian. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene of 51 years; sons, Michael, Steven and Daniel; daughter, Janice Whisler and Linda Martinez, 10 grandchildren; his sister, Orvilla Potvin and his stepsister, Julie Arnstein;. Visitation will be held at White & Day Mortuary in Redondo Beach on Friday, January 30, 2004, 4:00PM - 8:00PM. Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or any Hospice organization in his memory.
